About Us


Floyd studied Interior Design at CSULB and then attended the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles. He went on to work for Frank Gehry and Associates on the Disney Concert Hall and the Guggenheim Museum at Bilbao. During that time he met a film Director who hired him to do a remodel on his Venice bungalow. This was his introduction to a 25 year career as a Production Designer in the film industry. Floyd has done projects for TV, film, and commercials worldwide with many Academy Award winning Directors. Floyd is a fourth generation Californian born in Carmel with many relatives living in the bay area.  He spent a great deal of time here as a child thus forging a strong connection with Northern California. He recently moved his family to Mill Valley.


Julia Albee was born in England and raised throughout the United States. After college she was hired as a Photo Assistant for celebrity photographer Joseph Viles, working on advertising for TV. Julia found a passion for shooting interior spaces and the people who inhabit them. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Time, In-Style, and Shape Magazines. She has photographed various ad campaigns for Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, and Tanqueray.

While her children were attending Mt Washington Elementary School, Julia along with 2 other parents founded the annual Event “Mt Washington Made” which featured some of the most talented makers and artist from Southern California. The event attracts thousands each year while raising money for the local school.

She is the Principal Buyer for Prevalent Projects.
