This is a current project located in the pastoral Horse Hill neighborhood of Mill Valley. The site was chosen primarily for its sublime views of golden rolling hills, and the ridgeline of the valley. This project will be a complete remodel, removing walls, essentially reducing the existing house to a shell. The intention is to bring the timeless poeticism of the outdoors, indoors. Warm materials, finishes and furnishings will brighten the space and accentuate an open floor plan, while carefully framing the majestic scenery just beyond the home.
